Records and Custodian of Records

In compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and associated regulations, all models, actors, actresses, and other persons who appear in any visual portrayal of actual sexually explicit conduct appearing on Circl were over the age of eighteen (18) years at the time of the creation of such depictions.

Exemption Statement

Some visual depictions displayed on Circl are exempt from the requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. 75 because they do not portray conduct as specifically listed in 18 U.S.C. § 2256, or they do not portray conduct as specifically listed in 18 U.S.C. § 2257(a)–(h), but are merely depictions of non-sexually explicit nudity, or are otherwise exempt.

Circl is not the primary producer (as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. 75) of any visual content on the platform. Circl limits its activities to providing hosting services for user-uploaded content. All content provided by third-party users is the responsibility of the person(s) who created such content. Circl requires that all users affirm they are at least 18 years of age and maintain all required age-verification records for any content they upload.
